Beta tests for the browser version of MMORPG Dragon Quest X will start on February 5, 2020, Square Enix has announced.
The open beta will allow Square Enix to fine-tune the game with final adjustments before launch, and they hope to get smartphone, tablet and PC users, both new and experienced to use it. The only requirements to enter is a browser with HTML5 support such as Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.
Improvements have already been made to the open beta based on feedback received from the closed version, including improved camera controls, touch input, UI improvements and various bug fixes.
Dragon Quest X players will be able to carry over save data between Switch and other devices at any time and pick up the same game.
A Square Enix account will be needed to access the open beta which starts on February 5, 2020, at 12:00pm JST and can be accessed from the official website.
