We all know the good old Rock – Paper – Scissors game. Well, Japan wouldn’t be Japan if they didn’t have their very own and special version of it. And we certainly wouldn’t be R18 if that Japanese version wasn’t kinky.
The trend started in the 90s when Yakyu Ken first appeared at parties and on TV. Yakyu means Baseball in Japanese and is definitely the most popular sports in the land of the rising sun, besides the traditional Sumo Wrestling. So, freely translated, Yakyu Ken means Baseball – Rock, Paper, Scissors. But why on earth Baseball, you might wonder?
First records of Yakyu Ken were between Baseball teams at parties. Back then, it was just a fun party game and did not include any sexual actions or references.
The Looser is (as with the original Rock, Paper, Scissors game) subject to a penalty such as having to dance in front of everyone or having a shot of sake, beer or other alcoholics.
But, Japan wouldn’t be Japan if a kinky version san’t developed over time. And as may be obvious for Japan, the penalty here is getting undressed, piece by piece.
