A live-action movie version of Hagure Idol Jigokuhen has been announced to be released in Japan this fall. The raunchy main role of the heroine Misora Haeburu will be played by Japanese gravure idol Rina Hashimoto.

This is the story of Misora Haebaru, an 18-year-old karate expert from Okinawa who went to Tokyo to enter the entertainment industry in hopes of supporting her family. She gets tricked into being a gravure idol who wears lewd clothing and is forced eventually to enter the AV world, but she won’t go down without a fight.
Rina Hashimoto gave a short interview about her role in the upcoming movie to Natalie:
“This is my first starring role where I will put forth my body and soul! It made me laugh a bit, is a bit ecchi and hot! Its a movie that gives a refreshing feeling. I’ll be delighted if you could watch it with many people!”
