NHK announced that television anime series Log Horizon will have a third season which will be titled Log Horizon: Entaku Hōkai (Log Horizon: Fall of the Round Table. The series, which is based on a novel series written by author Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara will premiere on NHK Educational in October 2020.
It has been five years since the release of the last season of Log Horizon. The first season of premiered in October 2013, while the second season premiered in October 2014. Everyone who worked on the original series will return for the third season.
