Creepy Doctor Busted for the Third Time Snatching Schoolgirl Gym Clothes on Trains

A 41-year-old doctor from Nishinomiya is back in handcuffs after police say he stole yet another high school girl’s gym uniform on a train in Hyogo.

This time the suspect, Satoshi Hakotani, allegedly slipped his hand into a 16-year-old student’s tote bag and walked off with her gym clothes while they were riding the Hankyu Imazu Line between Kotoen and Nishinomiya-kitaguchi stations on June 12.

It’s his third arrest for the same kind of thing. Earlier this year he was arrested twice for cutting open a girl’s knapsack with nurse’s scissors on a different Hankyu line and taking her gym uniform. Police searching his home found several other school gym outfits, including one with embroidered markings that helped them track down the latest victim.

The girl didn’t even notice anything was missing until she got to school. When police contacted her, she remembered a man standing behind her on the train who had been breathing heavily the whole time.

Hakotani admitted it right away, telling investigators he “stole it while commuting.” He said the long handles on the tote bag made it easy to reach inside without needing scissors this time.

Cops believe he’s been deliberately targeting trains during the morning school rush and are looking into whether there are more victims.

A doctor who’s supposedly supposed to help people… repeatedly going after teenage girls’ gym clothes on public transport. Pretty hard to wrap your head around that one.
