Former NMB48 member Cocona Umeyama just dropped her second photo book, and she’s not holding back this time.
The 23-year-old Osaka native (who was in NMB48 from 2016 to 2022 and also part of Lapis Arch) already put out a swimsuit photo book a few years back. This new one, titled COCOIRO, is a clear step further. It came out on her birthday, August 7, and was shot on location in Cebu.
In the book she goes full nude. Classic hand-bra poses covering her flat chest, shots of her naked back, and soft, teasing moments where she’s in a sheer slip in bed or standing, giving little glimpses of her butt. There’s also a bath scene where just the rim of the tub is doing the work of covering her.
It’s the kind of soft, pretty, slightly risky gravure that a lot of former idols go for when they want to keep their career going after leaving the group. She’s clearly aiming for that “young, slim, and sweet” image while showing a bit more than before.
