What do Japanese porn stars do after they retire? Some fade away, some stick to related gigs, and a few make a complete left turn into something totally different.
Shion Hanabuki, who also performed as Hikaru Natsuki, falls into that last category. The 23-year-old Kanagawa native retired from the adult industry last year and has reinvented herself as a programmer. She now goes by Noa and is focusing on web development and automation work.
Her old social media account with around 20,000 followers got taken over by her former agency, so she had to start fresh. On her new account she’s been open about the career switch and even admitted she leans on Claude to help with coding and automating tasks.
She’s not just casually coding either. Noa is actively offering her services and telling people to hit her up via DM if they need help with web stuff or automation projects.
She debuted under the Natsuki name in late 2022 and spent 2023 working with Faleno. Now she’s trading explicit scenes for lines of code. Not the most common second act in the JAV world, but definitely one of the more interesting ones.
