The Japanese internet spent the last day passing around what is being billed as a leaked sex tape and nude selfies of model and actress Tina Tamashiro. None of it has been confirmed, and plenty of people are already saying it is not her.
Tamashiro is half Japanese, half American, born in Okinawa. She is 28, known for the short bob, and broke out in the early 2010s. From 2012 to 2019 she was a cover model for the fashion magazine Vivi. Photo books followed, plus acting work, including the Netflix series Alice in Borderland. She got married in 2024, which makes a bitter ex a less obvious explanation than it would have been a few years ago. A hacked phone or cloud account is the theory doing the rounds.
What is circulating is a set of nude mirror selfies, apparently taken in a changing room, and short clips of a woman on a hotel bed in a camisole and open-gusset lace panties, with a man filming. Some viewers are pointing at moles on the woman’s left arm and saying they match Tamashiro. Others say the footage is fake, or just someone who looks like her.
One detail is awkward if this is meant to be a private leak. In the video, the man’s penis is mosaicked the way it would be in ordinary Japanese porn, which is what you do to stay on the right side of the obscenity law, not what you usually see in a phone video. The selfies, by contrast, are fully nude and look unedited. That split has people arguing over whether the clips even belong together.
Tamashiro has not commented. If the footage is real, silence has worked before. When an alleged sex tape of Elaiza Ikeda leaked in 2020, she said nothing and kept working. If it is not her, saying nothing still keeps her out of a fight over clips she cannot control.
For now it is a rumor with pictures attached, spreading faster than anyone can check it.
