The story follows Rihito, a chill (some might say unmotivated) young salaryman at a game company who’s all about keeping work and life at a “reasonable” level. Then there’s his senior, Noa Saotome – the ultimate career woman: bubbly, professional, and always on top of things. That is, until Rihito accidentally catches her after hours, chugging sake and dramatically crying over her latest breakup. Suddenly, the walls come down, and these two polar opposites start building an unlikely friendship based on real talk, awkward moments, and way too much drinking.
It’s that perfect mix of workplace comedy, slice-of-life vibes, and rom-com sweetness with a side of ecchi flair. The manga’s been running in Weekly Young Jump since 2023 and already has a bunch of volumes out – it’s got that relatable adulting struggle energy that hits different when you’re in your 20s or 30s.
