Another day, another wild story from the Japanese adult scene. This time, a 38-year-old company employee from Nagoya named Yuto Kamiya got arrested for not giving proper contracts and paperwork to the women who appeared in his amateur adult videos.
According to the police, Kamiya recruited girls through matching apps and other spots, paying them between ¥10,000 to ¥30,000 per shoot. He’s said to have raked in around ¥30 million from producing and selling the content. The bust covers three women he worked with between June and September last year.
When questioned, he admitted to the allegations pretty quickly, saying something along the lines of “The women often told me they didn’t need the documents, so I started seeing it as a hassle.” Classic excuse, right? Cops even showed off a bunch of confiscated cameras, tripods, receipts, and other stuff during the announcement.
This feels like a pretty clear message from the authorities. With the newer laws around adult video production, it looks like they’re cracking down on amateur and independent creators too—no loopholes here. Even if performers say they’re cool with skipping the formal stuff, the rules still apply, and skipping them can land you in hot water. Uncensored content? Still very much illegal, regardless of whether you’re shooting for OnlyFans or selling privately.
