Talent agency LIGHT just announced it’s breaking apart. The actresses on its roster will move to two new agencies: ELTRA and EST.
That’s the whole official statement, more or less. LIGHT thanked fans and business partners, said the women previously under its name will continue working under the new setup, and told people to send future questions to whichever agency ends up handling each performer.
LIGHT isn’t some tiny office nobody’s heard of. It has managed recognizable names, including Ichika Matsumoto, Yuka Murakami, and Mary Tachibana. A split like this isn’t just a letterhead change. Management, bookings, and how someone gets promoted can all shift depending on which shop they land in.
Mary is probably the least affected. She’s already retired, so there’s no next release hanging in the air. Ichika is a different story. She’s still active, and her most recent title was a Moodyz release in July. Fans are already asking which of the two new agencies will take her. Same question for Yuka and the rest of the roster.
LIGHT didn’t spell out how the split works. No list of who goes to ELTRA, who goes to EST, or whether the actresses get a say. For now it’s just “they’ll keep working under the new agencies.”
That’s why this one is getting attention. Until the assignments leak or get announced, the interesting part is watching where the bigger names end up — and whether anything actually changes in how they’re handled.
