Visiting a traditional Pink Eiga – a Traditional Japanese Porn Cinema in Osaka

Porn Cimenas are a rare species these Days around the World. For once, cause of the Internet and Millions of 24/7 available Porn Movies and Clips Online; many of them even Free. So what for going to a Sticky, Smelly and overpriced Porn Cinema? Well in our case it was to experience what Japan calls Pink Eiga. This basically is the Japanese name for Porn Cinema and plays often traditional inspired “Movies”, involving Geisha, Samurai and the like.

Starting in the 1950s after World War II, Pink Eiga’s started showing Movies that involving Nude or Bed Scenes, something that wasn’t common in Japan till then as well as in many parts of the world.

The one we visited was located just two minutes away from Osaka’s famous Landmark Tower Tsutenkaku which is surrounded by Bars, traditional Restaurants, serving specially Takoyaki and Kushikatsu; since we are in Osaka.

For a relatively high price of 1400 Yen (roughly 14 USD) did we have the pleasure to have a “sticky” in the well visited Cinema. The atmosphere was as to be expected silent, with a few moans here and there to listen in the Dark. It was almost mysterious and at times I couldn’t resist to jiggle a bit. For those who felt that they would like to spend the whole Day, for additional 400 Yen (4 USD) you had the chance to upgrade to a 1 Day pass which gives you access to a Day Full of Wanking and Fun. Couples Prices were at 2000 Yen (20 USD) while I did not see any of them (well it was pretty Dark though anyway).

Did I have a fun experience in one of Osaka’s and Japan’s last Pink Eiga Porn Cinema’s? Certainly but mostly for the Experience, not really for the Pleasure of releasing my Spunk all over the Seats. With the Olympics in Tokyo next Year, the Rugby World Cup this year and more and more Westerners visiting Japan, and Japan cleaning up themselves of Neighborhoods that leave a Bad Image of Japan; I recommend everyone who wants to experience a Pink Eiga to do so soon. Not doing it, you might regret it some day and I was surely happy to cross this piece of Asian Erotic History of my Bucket List.
