The SEGA Ages collection is growing with a new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 coming soon. And according to Famitsu magazine, Knuckles the Echidna will be included in the new version for Switch.
Fans of the original SEGA Genesis release of the game will remember that Knuckles first appeared when players could access the special mode by inserting the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 cartridge on top of the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge using the “Lock-On Technology.”
There is still no official release date for SEGA Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 as of yet, but we can safely assume it will be coming soon in Japan since Famitsu is releasing news on it.
